Financial Literacy Classroom Expectations
* Most importantly - in Emergency situations, LISTEN to Mrs. Wilson for instructions!
Arrive on time to each class. Excessive tardies and absences will result in poor grades and may require school discipline.
Cell phones will be placed in the cell phone pocket keeper before class starts. Concealed phones that emerge will be collected by the teacher and given to the main office until the end of the day. Additional issues with electronics will involve parents and administration. Let's not go there.
No headphones in your ears. Have some respect for your teacher, please!
Sit in your assigned seat everyday.
Bring your Chromebook & charger EVERY DAY!
Come to class ready to learn. Bring a pen or pencil, and your class materials every day.
Fully participate in classroom discussions, activities, projects, and assessments.
If you need to use the restroom sign your name on the "waiting list." Only one person may leave the room at a time. Write the time you leave on the board next to your name when you leave and cross it out when you return. This alerts the next person waiting for the pass. (If you use the hall pass excessively, you will no longer have that privilege.)
Please use the hall pass only during "free working time." Don't leave during videos, lectures, class discussions, guest speakers. Use the bathroom during passing periods as much as possible. Bring water to drink. (Remember...it's called "Adulting.")
Make up work when you're absent. Look at the "Daily Objectives" on Schoology if you are absent. You are responsible for making up what you missed on your own time. If you have questions, text Mrs. Wilson on Remind or email her at [email protected].
Demonstrate polite, respectful behavior and language toward all people at all times.
Be nice to guest teachers. Help them. Don't make their job harder than it already is!
Have high expectations for this class, of yourself and your abilities.
Class Motto: Attitude is Everything!
